On another note, a friend of mine was one of ten people to have lunch
with Bruce this afternoon!!! It was at the Four Seasons (a very expensive
restaurant) and he did arrive in the black limo that was in front of WXPN.
Sean (my friend) is the manager of the music dept. at Border's Books & Music
and got to sit next to him at lunch. Knowing I would kil him if he didn't
bring me up in the conversation :^) asked Bruce if he got on to any of the
computer bulletin boards. He said no, but remembered the book I made for
him of the early humans messages. He said it took a long time, but he
finally read the whole thing. (I don't know if he read any of the updates
I have sent Jehanne). He said there were some really interesting things
in there. He also thought (but I don't) that Bernie and/or Jehanne got
on-line every so often. I know they are aware of us, and several of us
have tried to talk them into getting a modem for one of their PCs, but
I don't think that has happened.
I taped the interview this morning on WXPN, and should be able to tape
the World Cafe segment. The two should easily fit on a tape, and then
I will see who wants copies.
